We entered a new era of postal rates and regulations with the passage and phased implementation of the Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006.
The good news is that future rate increases will be capped by the increase in the consumer price index. The increases may be more frequent, but they won't induce the sticker shock the industry has experienced in past years culminating with increase in May 2007.
